Sally is a Client Deliverables Manager and Technical Editor at CH2M HILL, an engineering and environmental firm. Her experience includes creating, preparing, and managing technical documentation for the engineering services industry, the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, and for municipalities. Her area of expertise is training teams to comply with Section 508 federal accessibility requirements. Sally has been a member of STC since the early 1990s and has served as Vice President of the Southern Nevada chapter. Raf is a Senior Technical Writer for Elekta. With 15 years of experience, he has expertise in courseware development, instructional design, and video design. He has been a member of STC since 2001 and has twice served as president of the Southern Nevada Chapter. Jeanne is currently studying web development and entrepreneurship at U Michigan and Wharton online schools. She comes to technical communications from her previous work as a human factors engineer. Her experience includes operator-machine interface design, prototype testing, and task analysis. Jeanne has been a member of STC since 2014. Originally from Boston, she earned an engineering design degree at Tufts University. After graduating, she relocated to Southern California to work in the aerospace industry.
Jay is currently an IBM TRIRIGA information developer at IBM. After earning his degree in Civil Engineering from RPI, New York, Jay eventually found his career path in technical communication. With over 18 years of experience in hardware and software documentation in the technology industry, including 11 years in the IWMS industry, Jay witnessed the IBM acquisition of Las Vegas-based TRIRIGA in 2011.
